The Firm
The firm was founded in 1958 by Joseph E. Fazzano and has been serving clients for over fifty-five years in the City of Hartford and surrounding areas. A graduate of Brown University, Yale School of Law and The U.S. Judge Advocate General School at the University of Virginia, Joseph E. Fazzano started his legal career in the United States Army and retired as a Captain. CT Attorneys Best known for his dedicated service to several labor unions, including the Hartford Police Union and the U.S. Postal Workers, his practice attracted national attention in the 1970’s when he helped usher through what was then one of the biggest mergers ever, the acquisition of the Hartford Fire Insurance Co. by ITT. He is further noted for having presented the first successful insanity defense based upon drug use in a landmark Connecticut criminal trial. After Attorney Fazzano’s death in 1997, Attorney Tomasiewicz took over the helm and continued the firm’s tradition of aggressive advocacy with the assistance of a team of dedicated associates and staff.
The firm is honored that three former employees have gone on to be appointed by the Governor for the State of Connecticut as Superior Court judges: The Honorable Claudia A. Baio, The Honorable Kevin G. Dubay, and The Honorable Cesar A. Noble.
