I had a meaningful experience this past week donating toys and stuffed animals to the Salvation Army in Hartford, CT.

Thank you to my colleagues, all the volunteers, and those who were able to donate their time and resources to help make a difference in our community.

ImmaCare Shelter

Hartford County Bar Association board member Matthew Hallisey, executive director Jan Ambruso, and past president Patrick Tomasiewicz, delivered the items to the ImmaCare shelter on Tues., Nov. 16.

“ImmaCare is clearly a special place that does tremendous good work in the community. We wanted to provide support directly and personally to ImmaCare and help its clients. HCBA hopes to do more to help ImmaCare fulfill its mission of eliminating homelessness in the Hartford area while building community, creating safe and affordable housing options and increasing the skills, income and hope of those who struggle with housing crisis.”
